Charlize Theron, star of such films as Monster, Hancock and North Country is shocked that men in her native South Africa still believe they can cure their HIV oir Aids by having sex with a young virgin. Efforts being made to unfold AIDS awareness among African people, and especially South Africans has been ramped up significantly in recent years. Theron founded a rape crisis center in Cape City in 1999, 1 of her primary goals was to stem the growing AIDS crisis in her country. She is disappointed that once more and more than a decade, folks still assume there are “straightforward” non medical cures for HIV/AIDS.
